CreditUnionRate.com was founded by Nicole Soltau, a credit union advocate.

CUR will be positioned to be the leading online directory for credit unions worldwide. This site was developed to educate local communities about the benefits of credit union membership and to fuel and propel the credit union movement.

Potential members will be able to search for a credit union to join by typing in keywords, zip code, state, and employer and by other criteria. Existing credit union members, who visit CUR, will be able to search and view their current credit union's promotions.

In addition to the search feature, credit union news, financial articles and a virtual cars for sale lot will be featured. CUR will collect leads for new members, loans and select employee groups.
